About Us:
Jonathan Shaw is the founder of Metamorpho-Sys. Jonathan has worked for a variety of industries over the last 25 years as a software consultant and developer from aerospace to medical startups to community mental health organizations and Conservation Corps. Jonathan built CorpsNET® from the ground up from the ideas and experience writing the first desktop database for Civicorps in 2001 (while simultaneously consulting across the bay building an HR system for an investment bank). Deciding that it was much more fun working for organizations that were having a direct impact on people's lives he decided to create Metamorpho-Sys as a vehicle to bring best practice custom software development and consulting to organizations that ordinarily would not be able to afford such services - in the process helping each organization to evolve and grow and eliminate the chaos that impedes each organization's mission. CorpsNET® is presently used at five corps as the system of record and is hosted in the Azure cloud.

With Jonathan's' long time interest in conservation and of creating a society with opportunity for everyone regardless of background where people are empowered to improve their lives, Conservation Corps are a great fit for Metamorpho-Sys. Jonathan is also an active outdoor athlete, backcountry skier, timber framer and photographer and once helped build a floating timber frame houesboat near Buenos Aries. Metamorpho-Sys regularly partners with other consultants for specific expertise and integration. Byron Whitlock of Whitlock Consulting has been invaluable for his encyclopedic knowledge of software development and complex screen scraping and pattern matching that helped implement some innovative features of Metamorpho-Sys software. Byron has since been hired by Google in their cloud services division and will hopefully still answer the phone when we need him. :)
Metamorpho-Sys worked closely with Jayne Smith CEO of Mental Health Connect in 2019/20 to implement an innovative progressive intervention policy in CorpsNET for the Urban Corps of San Diego. Jayne is available for organizational consulting, training and support in how to effectively implement the complex real world processes associated with the progressive intervention features of the CorpsNET Software.
